A Canyonjet Safari was a great way to spend half a day. It was sunny and warm and there was plenty to see and explore. The interpretive ride was a fun way to learn more and the smaller people were entertained by the ride itself. Then off to Cedar Lake for a few hours to swim and play!

Just a little drive further west and there are some great hikes and trails to experience. I liked that the kids could run ahead a bit and explore without being in any danger. It was an adventure for them and a great way to beat the heat for a bit.

We parked our car and walked into the base of the falls...as far as we could safely go and close enough to feel the spray on your face! Even the sound of the water crashing onto the mountain rocks is amazing.
